As promised, I shall blog about Genting Casino this time but not entirely on the spooky part but on some practical methods I observed on some gamblers for better luck in the casino.
Here are some ways to cheat the Feng Shui into bringing luck to you. Remember this is what I observed and NOT certified by the famous Lilian Too.
- Enter the casino entrance by reversing your body (butt goes in first). Instead of directly contact this feng shui dimension face on, why not reverse your body and counter it with the most inauspicious part of your body, your backside.
Wear red underwear. This is a well-known practice to bring you luck according to the Chinese, because red is an auspicious color. Underwear or panty could counter the most inauspicious part of your body.
Unzip your pant. Once my relative accidentally forgot to unzip his pant, somehow he won a lot. So, I guess the logic is with all the bad feng shui facing you at the casino table, you counter it again with the most inauspicious part of your body. Who knows, if this is effective maybe in future there will be this sign around.
Throwing candies under the casino tables. I saw this a lot. It was believed that there were little ghosts under the table helping the casino winning money from the gamblers. Since the ghosts consisted of little children’s spirits, the candies will keep them busy from making you lose.
Do not pee in the casino toilet. Fluid is an important part of the body, some gambler assumes that if you pee it away, it is like putting money into the casino. So, pee outside the casino… I mean the toilet outside.
No contact with the casino God of Fortune. During Chinese New Year, you could see lots of people dressed as God of Fortune giving angpows to people (only Genting Vouchers inside). The God of Fortunes were actually hired by the casino (just in case you don’t know…duh) and the hidden intention was giving fortune to the casino. Some gamblers even avoided looking at them.
So, that’s all folks! These were the 6 things I observed during my 3 days stay in Genting. Please do share some methods you observe whenever you are in the casino.

hey u reli have sharp observation. While i went to genting casino, the only thing i observed is people losing quite large sum of money. Luckily i still wont few hundred bucks for the day but its reli addictive le. luckily i still won.
I never wear underwear also kalah lah! Muaahahahaha

Haha! So many observations you had! I do believe the casino is heavily feng shuied in favour of the owners of course. I seldom gamble cos I know it's tough to win in a casino, not to mention a heavily feng shuied one : )
i don think so...its about fengshui.
its about mathematics - probabilities. All the games have extremely higher winning probability on casino sides.
But some 50% winning probability cases/games..you're winning/losing is 50/50...meaning no win/no loose; another meaning less losing/less winning...anyway have a fun in genting - city of entertainment.

KL Guy -> I want to agree with you but if you ever try visiting other casino, you will know that winning seem easier at other places if compare to Genting, and if it is the odd of 50/50 there will be at least 25 percent of the people going home winning (the other 25% goes to those who win but keep on playing till they lose because of greediness), still my observation is telling me 90% people losing and 10% winners. Make sense?

actually i dont believe much in fung shui in the casino. i know the people who developed the games. those dealers are trained well so they seldom lose money because they can notice the slight change of expression on your face. as for the jackpot machines, it's programmed to make you lose money lol. at most they give you back the prize in jackpot of 15%
