I went searching for a post office at Rundle Mall but could not find it. Then I did a silly thing, I asked for direction! Why it was silly? Because I was just standing outside of the post office!

I found a suitable postcard and bought the stamp at the counter from a cute customer service girl.
If you ever experienced summer, you would know that the day would only get dark pretty late (in Adelaide, it started getting dark at 9pm).After managing to scribble something onto the postcard (the person who received this card would have a very hard time reading it because my handwriting was really messy!), I braced the 13ºC temperature to the nearby posting box for mailing. *sneeze sneeze*
Yeah, that friend is really someone pretty special for such urgency. Actually it was evening of 23rd December, so if I delayed one day, the postcard would take a longer time to reach
There went my posting!
It turned out that the postcard only arrived here yesterday (7th January 2009), 2 weeks after my trip! As long as my special friend was happy to receive it, then it was all worth it! Still think it was cheap though. :p

I never thought of sending postcard in such a way as souvenir. quite special. i like it. :)
Give it a try! But problem is you need to write something, which i am suck with.. i mean my handwriting.
